Two Poems on Time

Fom my 4th Anthology

Time

Clocks tick loudly in the silence

There are hundreds of clocks

In spite of all their differences

they all go tick tock

Except the atomic timers

do not strike the hours

but measure time silently

in terms of microseconds

and much less than that

measuring each creation

and in between every one

there is a space of infinity

which is the NOW moment

when time stands still

and creation rests until

the next and the next

in strobelike fashion

we perceive the illusion

Time Again

There is nothing new under the sun

whatever we do it is never the same

every little act repeated differs

because Time is a river

you may in repetition

seem to be perfection

but you have changed

older by experience

and in time

Only IT is changeless

IT creates with Time

as prisoners in Time

we agreed in beginning

as a huge joke

why we are not laughing

yet we chose Freewill

now ready to leave it

and so to regain bliss

as it is our birthright
